Philosophy

First of all, what is philosophy?
According to one on-line dictionary, Philosophy is: the rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge, or conduct.

Ok, so what has that got to do with meditation?

A great deal.
You see, if you use the advanced meditation techniques, you will begin to become aware of many more aspects of your being than you are currently aware of.

What is now 'true' for you, will no longer be 'true'.
In light of the personal discoveries and personal experiences that you will have had whilst meditating, you will start to discover the essence of what you are.

Your mind, your train of thoughts, is a reactive, ongoing and repetitive process. As such, it will have little information, and even less of an understanding of the new discoveries that you are making, on a regular basis, as you meditate.

This is where philosophy can help.
It greatly increases your capacity to understand your meditation, your inner journey, and ultimately the real nature of who and what you really are.

But if the thought of 'studying' philosophy scares you a little, I wouldn't worry.

Most of the philosophers I know, have absolutely no idea of the existence of the dimensions which you are going to explore within.

If you described to them the inner light which you sit and gaze at within, they will assume you are visualising or fantasizing.

If you tried to describe to them exactly what the incredible inner sound is like, again they will assume you are making it up.

If you try and describe to a philosopher, your discovery of a place inside you, that has no beginning, no middle and no ending, a place where you simply go on forever, then the average philosopher will have no idea what you are talking about.

Because the average philosopher only works with ideas and beliefs.

The difference is, that you will be experiencing a living adventure, and the philosher will be recanting meaningless empty words.

The fact that the existence of the inner light and sound has been written about for thousands of years, will be lost on your average philosopher.

They will believe it is not possible.

When you invite them to suck it and see, they cling onto their old ideas and beliefs, and flee before the idea of their intellectual identity can be challenged any further.

As you go on your incredible inner journey, you will experience and witness for yourself, such profound phenomena, that it will stretch your understanding of yourself, and the very nature of life itself.

You will find that the only other people who will know what you are talking about are fellow meditators.

Specifically, people who meditate using these advanced meditation techniques. Details of these techniques can be found via the link at the top of this page.

There are very few of us around. However, modern technology has made it possible for you to talk to anyone on the planet, wherever they are, virtually free of charge. The internet, emails, skype and even the humble telephone, now mean that you can always speak to a friend about your meditation, your understanding and your philosophy.

You are never alone.
