Meditation Teacher Training

There are nursery school teachers, primary school teachers, high school and university teachers. They all teach completely different things, yet they each provide a service to society. And so it is with Meditation Teacher Training.

You can learn and teach basic meditation techniques in a very short time. Whatever Meditation Teacher Training is out there, it should teach you the basics of all the common meditation techniques, including relaxation, breath and mantra meditation.

It would also be useful if the Meditation Teacher Training included some awareness of the use of colour, geometry, philosophy and analogy.

I would strongly advise you to avoid any Meditation Teacher Training that encouraged you to believe anything that cannot be proven or substantiated. The reason I advise this is because, in advanced meditation, all beliefs can be percieved for what they are, nothing more than stories for your mind.

In essence, there is no such thing as a spiritual story, or a spiritual belief.

The truth can never be contained in a belief or a story, or in the mental chatter of your mind.

If you are interested in the ultimate discoveries that meditation can reveal to you, then the only Meditation Teacher Training that is worth persuing, is a training that includes the possibility for you - and your students - to discover the deepest mysteries within yourself, that lie beyond the dogma of unproven ideas.
