Meditation Breathing Techniques

If you are to take meditation seriously, then you need to know about meditation breathing techniques.

Control of the breath, and being able to use the breath, is vital to the quality of your meditation. Meditation breathing techniques have a profound effect on your ability to 'let go', and as such, have a profound effect on the insights you can make into yourself.

Meditation breathing techniques have been perfected by the Indian yogis, many centuries ago. They have a whole science of breathing techniques, called pranayama. Fortunately for us, there are several simple breathing techniques that you can easily learn, to give you the same profound effects.

I demonstrate two of these techniques on the free How To Meditate video. If you want to see those meditation breathing techniques now, please click on the video link on this page.

The reason meditation breathing techniques are important, is this.

By controlling your breath, your mind will begin to calm down. As your mind calms down, your emotions begin to settle.

You will begin to feel a sense of stillness.

Meditation breathing techniques, are an excellent preparation for more advanced meditation techniques. These techniques can be found on the link above.
