If you want to experience true relaxation, then meditation is your best bet. Meditation will relax you physically, mentally and emotionally. Once you know how to meditate and practise on a regular basis, you will be more relaxed than you have ever been.
I once met a guy who paid an anaesthetist to medicate him so that he could relax. This guy was so desperate for a little relaxation, that he felt that drugs were his only option. I must have told him ten times about meditation. Eventually, he tried it, and he has never felt more genuinely relaxed in the whole of his life.
I have to point out, that when some people start to meditate, they do really start to notice just how stressed they really are. As such, they think, or it appears, that the meditation is making them anxious. This is not the case. Far from it.
The meditation is simply allowing you, the meditator, to see what is there. If you are stressed, it will show you. But if you follow my simple meditation exercises, shown on the free Meditation Class Video, then I will also show you how to relax, and let go.
Relaxation and meditation go hand in hand. But please do no think that meditation is a passive activity, it is not. It requires you to be present, in the moment, in the now, simply witnessing what is there. It is an incredibly worthwhile thing to do with your life, and can show you how to do it. For starters, you could watch the free Meditation Class Video, then move on to the more powerful, Advanced Meditation Techniques. These can be accessed through the links at the top of this page.
